Ladies and gentlemen – welcome to what we have choosen to call a Pre
and post historic art event.
By this we mean that the art as a form does no longer excist. The art
today have broken all barriers and closing in more and more to the philosophy.
Therefore – pre and post historic act.
All human development is cyclic so also the art. Therefore we would like to show what is happening and what will happen when the art vanish. ”The triumph of the goddess of love” which we have choosen to call this event is about the development of religion during five thousand years. In most cultures the god was only one woman – a goddess. This goddess was replaced with several goddesses after a while. Then came the man – when the man relived the women of the power was the female goddesses replaced by a male.
The painting you see below is an expression for this historic development. The painting is called ”midsummer” and oppose the painting”Midvinterblot”(mid-winter sacrifice) by Carl Larsson which is hanging in the museum in all aspects.

The painting is different in all aspects, compared by Carl Larssons ”Midvinterblot”.
- There is no warriors – the woman dominate.
- There is no force.
- There is no guns.
- There is no violens
The artist donate this painting to the National museum with hope and on the condition that Carl Larsson’s ”Midvinterblot” is replaced by this painting. Finally has the National museum a choice between to suggestions.
- One ”Midvinterblot” symbolize war, violence and chaos
- The other ”Midsommar” symbolize piece, love and harmony
- Which one symbolizes the professionalism of the National museum best?...The choice is yours!
In order to illustrate what have happened and what is going to happen
with the art form, we show the struggle between man and woman throughout
the time.
Please note that the painting ”Midsommar” will beat the current Guinness record in size held by ”Midvinterblot” with about two square feet.
